Switch It UP (The Switch Stories Book 2) by J.H. Craig is a sizzling romance about the life of a dominatrix and a submission all rolled into one steamy story. Madeline has baggage. First, her boss is ripping her off at the dungeon and giving Trey, her sweet, submissive assistant, a hard time. Trey is too busy with his interest in Madeline's newest investment, Hunter, and wants her by their side as they explore new realms of interest. Madeline can generally rely on her lover and rock, Jase, who is currently distracted with a problem from his past. But it is Jase's friend Joe who is giving her the looks of interest lately. Madeline definitely doesn't have all of the answers, but she knows that the answer of sex is usually one of the multiple choice answers. If only life were as easy outside of the bedroom.
This is a very interesting book that combines sexy romantic scenes with a behind the scenes look at a life of bondage and dominance and submission. This is a unique story that I think readers will enjoy as they get to see other parts of this lifestyle besides just the aspect of sex. There are a lot of dark elements to this story as well, like weird fetishes, self-harm, and mental illness, but it is written about in a way to shed light on a dark subject and educate readers. Great story that really focuses on love.
