We are all seekers in one way or the other, and the author speaks about the glorious feelings that can be experienced when we connect with God. This powerful, life-changing experience has been expressed through stories and engaging narratives from ten biblical characters. It is a book that will deepen the reader's intimacy with God and the tips and suggestions will enable the reader to seek God in a simple way.
I like the way the author handles this topic. May Patterson makes it interesting to the reader without sounding too religious, yet at the same time gives steps on how to seek God, making the entire process sound like an adventure. The author’s words are profound and will make readers think, look into themselves, and work on their own selves so that the shining realities of life are clear before them. The author's way of expressing is simple and very easy to comprehend, and her words help build a more positive self-image, thereby transforming the way we all live. I enjoy reading these types of self-help book as they are motivating and inspiring and they do show how to express our love and gratitude to God in many ways. The exercises in the book are helpful in teaching us things which we never would have discovered on our own.
