Seduce Me Tonight is the story of resort owner Alexandra and laser-focused businessman, Sterling. He wants to purchase her resort but she doesn’t want to sell it. The attraction between the two, however, is palpable and they are both willing to do something about it. Neither Alexandra nor Sterling are looking for anything permanent due to past relationship failures, but the here and now is totally open and on the menu. Katherine Garbera has created a wonderful story of two people with misguided notions that may still lead them down the right path. It could go horribly wrong with Alexandra using him for sex, and Sterling trying to woo her to gain a sale, but it isn’t sleazy and it turns out all right.
Katherine Garbera created characters with relationship problems but nothing so big as to be insurmountable. Alexandra forfeited her dreams for a decade and followed her husband’s and upon his death she is determined to follow hers; the resort. Sterling is divorced and really has never slowed down enough to consider falling in love, until Alexandra. Seduce Me Tonight does have plenty of steamy sex scenes but they do add to the story. Make no mistake, this is definitely a love story. Sterling takes some warming up to be likable and that’s a difference that I fully embraced as I witnessed him becoming a better man. There are some fantastic characters in this story, including the indomitable Priscilla, and Dan and Jessica. They enhanced this story as did the South Carolina scenery and landmarks.
