Science! STEM Sticker Adventure by Hopscotch Girls is an entertaining educational children’s book on several different types of professions and what they entail. The illustrations are solid and colorful and include numerous stickers in the back of the book to place in the areas of empty space throughout the book. The narrative is straightforward and stimulates the mind, as well as demonstrating possibilities of what the future holds. Science! STEM Sticker Adventure while being an informative book, also captures the mind in an entertaining way and provides an interactive experience. It is a multi-purpose book for little girls 4-8 years old to jump-start their creativity and start their own path.
Science! STEM Sticker Adventure took me right back to my childhood. Many of the professions that were listed in the book were ones that I had been interested in as a child. Specifically, I was interested in geology and paleontology, the things that I could touch. I would always get the dig type of kits. I really appreciated how a number of the projects that they mention doing with children didn’t revolve around the internet; they were hands-on activities that I think children today need more of. This would be a great book for all little girls, and they will love the myriad of stickers in the back of the book. Stickers were a passion of mine as a child and I can't pass them in a store without smiling. There should be more books like Science! STEM Sticker Adventure, which engages its readers by expertly combining entertainment with education.
