Before beginning this journey, a person needs to understand what resilience means and the power and benefits it can provide. The author explains the mental, social, and physical aspects of empowering ourselves. By challenging ourselves and having a strong support system that encourages us along the way, this process will become easier to endure. We can also learn from our mistakes, forgive others and ask for forgiveness, and utilize self-criticism to improve our emotions and self-awareness. I loved reading Resilience Unlocked because it is unique and focuses on a topic many overlook. Resilience is vital to achieving success; without it, you will give up. The book is easy to read and understand. J. Mjolsness goes straight to the main points and uses a casual tone and simple words. The book is written like a report with well-numbered lists, bold titles, and key points. The author also gives enlightening quotes at the beginning of every chapter. This was a nice touch because it made the contents of the chapters intriguing. Developing resilience is a never-ending journey, and everyone needs to implement these skills in their life. Therefore, I hope everyone gets a chance to read this book. Great work.
