"Readeez Volume Two" is a collection of songs to words from the characters Julian and Isabel Waters. The DVD is entitled "Make It Up the Mountain". The author Michael Rachap created the characters to enlighten the early young child.
The words are written out and displayed across the screen, so the child may learn the words and sing along with the characters. Michael Rachap makes an appearance and sings along with the characters. The concept of "Make It Up The Mountain" is to try something, although it may be a challenge, along the way a lot of things can happen, a lot of things can be learned and a lot of fun can be had. This DVD is full of ideas for the imagination and the adventure.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading along the words to the songs as the characters embarked upon the adventure of climbing Mountain Wayupthere. The songs had a catchy beat and the words were not to hard for the child in the early elementary grade level. The characters pronounce the words with an emphasis on each syllable for pronunciation. I would recommend this DVD collection of songs with video to community child care centers and elementary schools. The DVD can be watched by children of all age levels, although I think children over the age of eight may think it is boring and will not stay focused on the concept of many of the songs. This collection made myself remember being very young again.
