Plus Size Goddess by Cathy McGough is Book 1 of the Goddess Creator Fashion Series. Christina Langdon has always been a little on the plump side, but she is trying to lose the weight. She works as a call center operator but goes to the gym for fun. Out of the blue, she receives an invitation to join a modeling boot camp. The invite has come from Goddess Creator Fashion, from the CEO no less, and now Christina is somewhat intrigued. She doesn’t realize that her past is about to be stirred up again and she must decide whether to let it bring her down or fight back and move on towards her goals.
Plus Size Goddess (Goddess Creator Fashion Series Book 1) by Cathy McGough is a hilarious yet heart-warming story. It’s a fun book with a serious undertone, one that so many people will understand and be able to identify with. So many of us have been or are struggling with weight and we still have problems identifying with our inner beauty. This story is about choosing to face the demons head-on and go for what we really want in life. This is a really well-written story; it's only a quick read but so much has been packed into such a short space. The main protagonist is exceptionally well developed so that I almost feel as if I know her personally and I can definitely identify with her. I’m glad this is the first in a series because I am really looking forward to reading more of Christina’s tales.
