The concept is excellent and the story conveys good messages to young readers. The story teaches them about friendship, hard work, winning, trying hard, and being a good loser. The illustrations are charming and delightful and they put across the message to readers with clarity. They also bring the scenes and the characters to life for readers. It’s an excellent book to use for interactive sessions in classrooms and school libraries, and parents and grandparents can read it out during bedtime to their kids and grandkids. Children understand messages and concepts easily when conveyed with the help of a story, interesting characters, and colorful illustrations, just like how Piper Periwinkle understands about friendship, hard work, winning, trying hard, and being a good loser.
