No matter what world you live in, triplets are rare, and in the Tehrex Realm where having children is rare, triplets are even more rare. In fact Pema and her sisters are the only known set of triplets, and it doesn't help that they are witches, only twenty-seven, and have a prophecy about them, or so it is said. Pema and her sisters own a store catering to the human and supernatural worlds, Black Moon Sabbat. Selling crystals and mild potions, along with tarot card readings, are their main thing, although the supernatural world knows they can help with real magic when needed. Pema’s Storm kicks off the Rowan Sisters' Trilogy about these rare and famous triplets. Authors Brenda Trim and Tami Julka do a wonderful job working together to create a cohesive world and a story that draws you in from page one until the last page.
Now, without giving too much of Pema's Storm away, let me tell you first that if you have read Brenda Trim and Tami Julka's Dark Warrior Alliance series you will remember the sisters as they have a brief mention in there. The characters from that series will cross over into this series a number of times also, but don't worry. Even if you haven't read that series you'll be fine. There is enough information given for you to follow along easily. That being said, this story is full of paranormal, fated mates, revenge, betrayal, adventure, fighting and some romance. There is a little for everyone here! I'm not going to recommend this for teenagers this time, because it does get a little steamy at times, but nothing graphic or tasteless. Otherwise, this is a great read for any adult!
