The stories and journaling prompts in the book will show readers how self-compassion is helpful when it comes to self-acceptance and its role when it comes to change. It is a book for readers who have struggled with self-criticism, shame, traumas, and tragedies which have manifested as anxiety and addiction. The author's personal story and experiences will enable readers to move through their transitions easily by letting go of the past and making room for the new. It is a book that will make everyone stop blaming themselves, criticizing themselves, and feeling unimportant, and help them realize that they belong to themselves first.
The insights in the book are good for everyone to change their perception about themselves and will inspire them to grow and unlearn their victim story.
