Our Super Solar System by Camden Short takes young readers on a magical trip to get acquainted with the wonders of space. The sun shines bright and the stars can be tracked. The moon orbits the earth, reflecting the sun through the night. Mercury is small when compared to the other planets and it looks more like the moon. Venus is said to be the sixth largest planet, and the earth is home to every human being. Mars is called the red planet and is covered in canyons, volcanoes, and ice caps. The Romans excelled in astrology, and they have gods like Jupiter, Mars, and Mercury.
Learning about the planets, the solar system, and space can be difficult for children but the author tackles the topic with ease and expertise. The book is educational and informative, and the author makes learning about astronomy and space interesting to children. The illustrations by Michael Short are magical and captivating, and will make it easy for children to understand the author's words. It is an excellent book to introduce children to the planets and the solar system, and tutors and parents can use it to make learning fun and interactive.
Science can be a difficult topic for many children. Tutors, parents, and educators will find this book helpful when it comes to introducing children to space and the other topics associated with it. Reading this book is fun and interactive. I hope there are more books like this for children so that they find science interesting.
