Never Board A Green Bus (Flight Knights, Book 3) by C.D. Bryan is a fun, witty story for middle graders and preteens. When Hanna Stevens receives an emergency alien alert, she believes she has enough time to wait for school to end before putting on her Flight Knight suit and confronting the aliens. But she doesn't count on having to ride bus number 51 home. Hanna's new pal Iris is being bullied and doesn't want to ride the bus by herself, so Hanna agrees to ride the bus, even though she thinks there is something weird going on. Are the aliens already waiting for Hanna? Is bus 51 safe? And just how well does Hanna know Iris? Hopefully, Hanna can use her alien fighting skills to keep herself and the innocent people on bus 51 safe...unless everyone on the bus is part of the alien plot to lure Hanna into danger!
This is a really cute story that young readers are sure to enjoy. The characters are fun and smart and really engage the reader.
