My Mammy Knows Everything by Emma Ledden is an adorable little book about three children and how they feel about their Mammy. The book is as cute as can be as the children talk about how their Mammy is a superhero and a great cook, or maybe she has magic powers when they are sick to make them well, or maybe she is a magician and can always find their toys, shoes, and other things they lose. This Mammy shows her love to her children by taking care of them and making life fun for them. She also shows the importance of always being there for her little ones. Emma Ledden has penned a sweet children's book that will be loads of fun to read to your children.
Asya Kaznacheeva is such an amazing illustrator, and it shows in My Mammy Knows Everything. Kaznacheeva does a fabulous job of bringing the story to life with the loveliest illustrations. I love the unique characters and especially their facial expressions. I also like the beautiful background colors and the fact that the backgrounds are different than most children's books, with one page in a solid beautiful color and the complementing page white or mostly white, giving a unique look to the layout. I feel this charming book should be in all children's home libraries because it is so important for children to realize what their moms do for them. I highly recommend this precious book, My Mammy Knows Everything by Emma Ledden. This would also be an amazing gift for families with small children.
