Michael & Mia: An Adventure in the Positive Cycle of Nature by Georg Hohbach and Ehrengard Hohbach is one of the most inspirational and imaginative books for children that I have ever had the privilege of reading. The main characters, Michael and Mia, go on an adventure that is awe-inspiring and they take along their teacher Mrs. Friday and their whole class. The descriptions are wonderful and anyone who can draw would be able to paint beautiful pictures. The authors have dedicated the inspiration of this wonderful tale about nature to Michael Braungart, a chemistry professor who motivates a nation of children to try to improve the way we do things and get us to reduce the waste we make that is not reusable.
Michael & Mia by Georg Hohbach and Ehrengard Hohbach catches the attention of the reader, no matter what their age, from the first to the last page. The drawings are delightful but I would have loved to have seen a few more, especially the one inside the anthill. For two authors to have such wonderful childlike imaginations to be able to write like this is inspiring and a joy to read. Thank you for taking me into a wonderful world of make-believe with a touch of reality. It was an adventure that will stay with me for a long time as well as the beautiful and unusual ending. I loved the grumpy robot with the plastic bag as a catching net.
