It was December and Mason's school had closed for the holidays. This was Mason's favorite time of the year, and it was going to snow soon. The family was going to visit Nana for Christmas. Nana lived in a big house, away from Dublin, and Mason thought it was a magical place to visit any time of the year. There was always something to explore at Nana's house, and Mason went from room to room exploring the place. Mason hadn't been to the attic and he thought, given the size of the house, the attic must be gigantic. Everyone was in the sitting room, watching the television, and Mason knew this was his chance to peek into the attic. He noticed an antique wooden chest in the corner and he hesitantly opened it. Inside it was a treasure map! He took it down and showed it to his parents. The map showed there was treasure buried under a tree. Would they be able to find the treasure his grandad Tim had mentioned in the treasure map?
