Love Found Me (Book Two in The Love List series) by Sharon Kleve is a fun and lighthearted romance read! The main idea of the series revolves around a group of single women looking to find love and romance. The idea behind the love list is basically the process where each woman writes down the name of a male friend and puts it in a hat. Each woman then draws a name and has to go on a date with that man. Love Found Me follows the story of Chloe, who draws Roy’s name out of the hat. Unfortunately romance doesn’t happen, but sparks definitely do fly when Chloe later meets Mitch at Roy’s store. Readers will be turning the pages to see what happens as Chloe and Mitch’s relationship blossoms, and will delight in the idea that opposites really do attract. The book may be short in length, but it’s definitely not short on charm!
I thought Love Found Me was an entertaining and sweet story. Chloe was very likeable and I found her dialogue and reactions to be realistic. Her encounters with Mitch were both engaging and endearing, and I was really rooting for their relationship. I thought the cover of the book was appropriate and cute, and it will appeal to most chick-lit and romance genre fans. While this is a stand-alone story, I would encourage readers to read Book One in the series first in order to have a deeper understanding of the characters as well as the concept behind the love list. Highly recommended and (because of the length) would be perfect for a fun lunchtime or before bed read!
