Little White Cat is an interactive children’s adventure book written and illustrated by Anders Roseberg. The outline of a little white cat is presented to the reader. While following the careful instructions provided in the book, the reader learns how to transform a little white cat into various different colors and breeds of cat, using just a little bit of paint and their imagination.
The simplicity in this book is unique and encourages young readers to get in touch with their artistic selves while learning about different colors and species of cat. Anders Roseberg starts the reader with a blank canvas and shows what a little bit of finger painting and coloring can achieve. Whether it is a leopard, a tiger, a panther, a lion or a house cat of various colors, readers can spend hours utilizing the farthest reaches of their imaginations to produce the most exotic and unique cats anyone has ever seen! Children can then name their creation, take a photo and hang it on the wall before starting the adventure anew all over again.
As a cat lover, I wholeheartedly recommend Little White Cat to young readers and those who love to get in touch with their inner artist, as it can provide hours and hours of color-filled fun and excitement to even the most hard-to-amuse audiences. Readers aged 5-8 can follow the instructions by themselves, and younger readers can be assisted by their parent or guardian so that a dose of family fun is enjoyed by all.
