Life Lessons: Inspiring Creativity by Jeremy Anthony R. Davis is an inspiring book for youngsters which will speak to them about creativity. The book tells readers how to be creative and gives effective tips to improve creative skills. The author speaks about the various ways one can get inspired to become more effective and creative. The prompts and the exercises in the book and the journal writing will help you get started on your creative journey. The references to forbidden fruit, Lucifer, and Adam form an interesting aspect of the theme which the author has woven well into the main premise.
'I think Sensory Deprivation would be the most ideal form of inspiration. To free your self from the totality of yourself, and eradicate all your senses to the bare minimum, in an effort to focus on the task at hand, is to give yourself an opportunity to do that which the creator set out for you to do... Create': these lines communicate effectively what the author is trying to convey to readers.
I found the book very useful because it makes you observe and be aware of everything around you. The tips and ideas are simple, but help in changing your perspective while observing. Sources of Inspiration is again another inspiring chapter that will help you get ahead with your creativity. The journal entry in the form of assignments at the end will help you in getting started on a life filled with creativity.
