In JJ Brown Wants to be COOL by BB Mack, JJ Brown is a cute little pup and he wags his tail at everything when he is happy. JJ not only wants to be happy, but he also wants to be cool. JJ Brown is with his friend Jax the cat when he starts thinking of ways he could be cool, but Jax says no to everything JJ wants to do. And the look on Jax's face when he's telling JJ no! It is absolutely priceless.
I love this cute book cover. It is so very precious that I can see every little boy and girl running to pick this book off the shelf. The dog on the cover is adorable. Well, the dog and the cat on every page are both so very appealing that a copy of this book will surely be on my coffee table. Each picture of JJ as thoughts run through his mind is such fun and illustrator Azka Javed captures the moments beautifully. And I can't leave out the vivid colors that are so bright and colorful. Every picture fits each page perfectly. And I love that a small child can read the story, making up what he/she doesn't remember.
I think JJ Brown Wants to be COOL by BB Mack is a must for any child's library. And it is perfect for any daycare or elementary school library, especially a preschool room. I highly recommend this little book for kids. There is also information in the book on how to join the JJ Brown Fan Club and how to get free coloring pages of the book, as well as future discounts. This is an additional reason for you to pick up a copy of this book. The Fan Club sounds fun and as well as the coloring pages.
