Ron Martin is married with three grown children and six grand children. He was a CIA contractor during the Cuban Crisis and in Berlin, aerospace technician on Gemini, Apollo, Poseidon and Dynasoar, pilot, candidate for U.S. Congress, Army combat medic, CPA, rancher, gun and knife show promoter, land developer and home builder, only American big game outfitter in Newfoundland, Canada, general store owner, went on two missions to Laos and brought back remains of one MIA and repatriated the son of a downed Air America Pilot. He currently lives in the North Georgia Mountains with Dianne, his wife of 35 Years.

R. Keith Martin is wise enough to see things that elude others. In his book It’s Over, he takes a long look at the United States of America, past, present and future. I agree with him that the US is the greatest country ever. The passion under which it was born held true for many years. Freedom for all was the battle cry.
Unfortunately, we lost that passion for freedom, and we gained a passion for laziness and gained a “what’s in it for me“ and “give me, give me, give me. On page 11 of this book the reader will find the Fatal Sequence. Americas have become complacent. We are smug. We do not think anything or anyone can bring us to our knees.
Some of the points Martin brings out are: The highest office in the country has lost respect. Ronald Reagan was the last President, who earned respect. Both Barbara and Laura Bush brought elegance, respect and integrity to the term First Lady. Obama’s books bring a sense of pity me and hatred for democracy. Could Obama be the 12th Inman? Alternatively, could he be ushering him in.
He also takes on the media. Journalism used to be respected. They prided themselves on fair and honest reporting. The news now purports its own version of the truth. Usually it leans more than a little to the left. Propaganda runs rampant. Citizens can only listen to so much without being affected. Martin also addresses the issue of illegal aliens. He calls them unregistered democrats.
I could continue on but you need to read this book for yourself. This book leans more than a little to the right. As a conservative I agree with most of what Martin asserts. It’s Over is a well written book. It will frighten many. Many (liberals and progressives) will debunk the information in these pages. I hope this book wakes up the masses. There are 432 pages filled with much. The print is a nice size, and yet I felt as if the words were crowded on the pages. Perhaps wider margins would have helped. This book is a must read for all Americans.
