If you're looking for a racy romance thriller to spend your evening with, grab a copy of Invisible Pursuit by Elizabeth Meyette. When she receives a mysterious package filled with suspicious powder, Layla finds herself quarantined and taken to the emergency ward by First Responder EMT Jack Trenton. After Jack pays a visit to the hospital, Layla mistakenly assumes him to be a doctor. As Jack and Layla spend more time together, they develop mutual feelings for each other that neither can deny. But Layla's reluctance to trust others and Jack's inability to correct Layla's misassumption drive a wedge in their relationship. Meanwhile, a stalker puts Layla's father's life in danger. Will Layla and Jack end up together?
A steamy romance novel full of suspense and drama, Invisible Pursuit is a captivating tale of two star-crossed lovers. Author Elizabeth Meyette weaves a fascinating love story set against the backdrop of a criminal investigation that readers will find hard to put down. The characters are well-developed, with backstories that add layers to their personalities. It makes them relatable as you can discern their motives and actions. Layla and Jack ooze chemistry, and every scene involving the two of them together is a blast to read. There are a couple of twists that I never saw coming, and it keeps you on the edge of your seats until the end. Recommend to readers who love suspense-filled romance novels.
