The Internet Edition of "Hot Buttons" is a must for parents and anyone working with children, tweens and teens. This edition covers internet activity, social networking, file sharing, internet porn and internet predators, plus so much more. There is no way any parent can know everything our kids have access to on the internet, and we need every bit of knowledge we can obtain to try to stay updated enough to help our kids and teens, warning them of the dangers that can be out there. This is a book you don’t want to be without.
I was very impressed with this Internet Edition of "Hot Buttons" and I think it is a valuable resource for anyone working with a child, no matter the age. One really special thing about this book and the 'Hot Button' series is that is gives parents and teens a chance to talk about difficult subjects and gives advice on how to approach the subject. I love the format of this book: each chapter gives so much information about its subject, then a challenge and checkpoints. With this and a study guide at the end of each book, the questions are already there for discussion, making it much easier for both the young person and their parents. I highly recommend "Hot Buttons Internet Edition" because it is scary what is out there on the internet, and a little bit of wisdom, warning and advice could mean everything for your child. These 'Hot Buttons' books are written for tween/teens, depending on the subject, but if you have younger children, they will be this age before you know it, so grab a copy of these books for your home library. You may be surprised about the impact these books will have on your family. Another thought for this book would be small youth group studies. My copy is going to our Youth Pastor as a resource for their studies.
