Visually speaking, this book is 100% professional, detailed, and eye-catching. It is speculated that kids are drawn to color and can remember easily by associating things with colors. Dave Ball provides a very education-oriented book, filled with different adventures that can only captivate its reader's attention.

Each page tells you about different things that the Hiccups like to do and there is a game in which you have to find the objects that they are showing to you. In each mini-game, you have the Hiccups in different settings. First, they are playing in the playground, then they are exploring an aquarium. Then they are learning about penguins and visiting the zoo. This continues as they visit magical places, a farm, a fair, having a picnic, going to a jungle, and a theme park. Finally, they are exploring the museum, woods, ski slopes, and the moon.

I thought this was a fun and entertaining read. I like how there was a story, but also finding the object games that I played while reading. The game theme really is a wonderful idea and it will definitely keep a child’s attention while reading. It’s always nice when books have a dual purpose. Dave Ball has done a great job in creating this seek and find adventure, while Design Pickle’s illustrations are beautifully done and fit perfectly with the subject. Hiccups Again is a delightful book that will show kids a great exercise to spend their time on. It’s definitely a book I would recommend to friends of mine with kids. I’d also love to see more of Dave Ball’s work in the future.

This book is a grand rainy-day busy book as well as the perfect way to get kids to see learning new words and counting as fun, not classroom chores.
