Happily Ever Kissed by Vicky Holt is a must-read. The romance is like a fairy tale, but a very realistic one. Girl meets her true love. Ava meets Sebastian, the handyman. He helps repair things around her bed and breakfast. Ava, a young woman who reads hot romances, has never had her first kiss! Soon there are hot guests at her B&B and a hot handyman to deal with too. Sebastian falls for Ava, while Ava hankers after some of her guests. But will one of her guests be 'the one,' or is Sebastian indeed 'the one' all along?
Happily Ever Kissed won my attention right away with the front cover. But once I opened the book, I could not get enough. Vicky Holt's romance is brilliantly well written. The main characters, Ava and Sebastian, will lure readers deep into the magnificent plot with a story that has suspense hanging on every page. Will Ava get her first kiss and who will it be? Happily Ever Kissed is a feel good romance that will tug at readers' hearts. I was pulled in so fast that it was like being there for real. Real emotions and real experiences like the wonders of love. Love comes tapping us on the shoulders and sometimes we don't always recognize it until much later. Also, there Ava's grandmother who makes readers laugh out loud at some of the things she tells Ava. A strong, motherly figure that loves Ava very much. When Ava faces struggles, she heads to her grandma. I loved the connection between these two women.
I loved reading this romance story. I simply could not get enough of these charming characters. Ava and Sebastian are now my two favorite characters! I fell in love with them instantly. Plus, I loved Ava's comparisons from heroes in her romance novels to the guests in her B&B. Wow! This is a perfect romance and I look forward to reading more of Vicky Holt's work in the future. Overall, I highly recommend this perfect, funny and sweet romance to readers everywhere.
