Get ready for a wild roller-coaster of a ride with N.R. Alexander's Go to Hell. All Alex ever wanted was to become a successful author. Instead, at twenty-eight years of age, he works as a marketer for tech companies. After several publishers refuse to publish his debut novel, Alex runs into his old high school friend, Ernie, who reveals his deal with the devil that granted him anything he wanted in this life in exchange for his soul. Feeling curious, he meets Satan, aka Lucy Ferraro, and makes a binding agreement to convince one million people to sign up for Hell in exchange for a minority stake in Hell. Convincing people to go to Hell is not as easy as it seems, and with time running out, can Alex find a way?
Hilariously morbid and full of dark humor, Go to Hell entertains you from start to finish. With distinctly vibrant characters and a wildly unpredictable plot, N.R. Alexander has created a genuine laugh riot of a novel you won't want to miss out on. Alex is a protagonist who is never quite sure of himself. His flaws and quirks make for a compelling dynamic in which readers will find themselves completely immersed. I was also impressed by Alexander's witty dialogue. The last few pages were an absolute blast to read, with Alex, Nat, and Brock making a surprisingly formidable team. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and recommend it to anyone looking for a few laughs.
