Flip This Ghost by Debbie L Moore is a paranormal mystery. Anna Westicon just wants to start her life over again after her divorce from Mark left her feeling hurt and lonely, not to mention the betrayal. Her best friend, Cheryl, walks away from Anna, leaving her truly alone. She decides to purchase a Queen Anne mansion and renovate it for resale, but she gets more than she bargained for. Her so-called friend is too busy for her and so Anna turns to alcohol as a way of coping. The thing is, while she might be lonely, the one thing she is not in her new house is alone. The original owner, Marcus, is still there; he never left and Anna is the very first one who has been able to sense and see him. He can touch her, in more ways than one, and Anna needs to decide if it is all worth it. Anna struggles as the truth comes out, not just about the past that haunts the house, but her own as well. Her life could be at risk and Cheryl is about to reap what she sowed.
Flip This Ghost by Debbie L Moore was something a little different, a ghost story with a bit extra thrown in for good measure. This is a romantic story with no small amount of steamy seduction and, I have to say, was quite a gripping book. The character development is excellent, even that of the ghost, leaving you in no doubt as to who the main players are in this story. The plot itself moved along at a fair pace, with more details being revealed as you follow this most entertaining of stories. It flowed well and Ms. Moore included plenty of detail and action to keep a reader hooked. I think that this will suit anybody who enjoys a paranormal romance, but don’t expect any of the bone chilling, spine tingling stuff you get in the usual paranormal stories – this is something different.
