Have you ever heard strange voices? Do you believe in ghosts and haunted houses? Spirits, good and evil? P.J. Lawton’s newest book “Fleeting Glimpses”, has nine short stories of strange and astonishing encounters; they could they be real.
The topics range from children’s voices hidden in a home longing to be set free, to trying to capture a spirit. What if you see the future and feel as if you had cheated death? Maybe a time traveler hiding from his past, jumps on a ship to escape… and then sees the name on the side of it. Space Ships and eternal life are just a few adventures the reader will encounter in this book. There is much in this book that is sure to make the reader wonder if this could really happen. It’s a strange world we live in today and many claim to see into the future or the past. Many have had strange encounters.
I have always liked to read books about ghosts and spirits and these short stories are excellent, just long enough to get the point across but not too long that it loses the reader. Recommended for all that enjoy reading this type of genre, it is not too scary. Great for an evening read on a stormy night by candlelight.
