Finding Mom by Amanda Mawhinney is an excellent book for all mothers out there. It will help them become better mothers without losing themselves. The book gives excellent tips on how to become happier and healthier, incorporate personal time into their daily routine, set achievable goals, become the mom they want to become, and implement time management that fits their lifestyle. Motherhood is a wonderful blessing and the book speaks about how many mothers have dreams and desires other than being a mom. The book will help mothers towards their journey of rediscovering themselves.
The personality development questions and the personality quiz are helpful for mothers to find out more about their personality and their shortcomings, and work on them. The mom personality profiles shared in the book are quite useful to readers to figure out what they need to focus on in their lives. I found the book engaging and helpful in guiding all those who want to go beyond the label of ‘being mom.’ All the tips and suggestions are useful and simple to practice, and can be incorporated into one’s daily living. The book will also help mothers examine their lifestyles and see what can be done to find their ‘me time’ so that they can actually spend some time with themselves.
