Jay Horne is a husband and father of four out of Bradenton, Florida.
As a kid, little did young Jay know that one day he would grow up to be an author and a publisher.
It was during a late evening when the postman dropped a package off at his mother's front door that it all began.
Jay was waiting for a decent job opportunity to arise and taking well advantage of his father's generosity.
Jay's first journal, which he had submitted to a printer and had bound like a book.
The book that the postman had delivered was carefully removed from its packaging and placed on the kitchen counter. Never would Jay have considered how important his journal would be to anyone other than himself, but on this night, he would realize that he was born to make books.
With curiosity, his mom asked what it was that he was holding. When she realized that it was a book written by her son she could not hardly contain herself. Up the steps she flew and returned with a stack of bound folders. Each folder contained a story from when Jay had been but nine or ten-years-old.
After his mother went on to explain the passion he use to have for writing, as a child, he decided to put his pen back to good use.

In ancient history, paradise was destroyed by man’s desire for more. Eve, the first woman of Hebrew and Christian tradition, ate forbidden fruit and subsequent generations sought to discover the secrets of God by building a huge tower to breach heaven. Eve: Pangea Book 1 by Jay Horne combines this world view with other pagan beliefs to demonstrate the need for a reunification of the lands of the planet as well as the people. Jesse, a wealthy world traveler trying enjoy life before memory loss grounds him, meets Evelyn and their connection is immediate. With the discovery of an ancient set of jewelry in an antique shop, their destiny is sealed. After taking some time alone to handle important business, Evelyn and Jesse have promised to meet in Africa, at the home of Eve’s tribe, the Oxychana, who guard an important secret. The question is whether Evelyn and Jesse will become free from their worldly issues to fulfill a prophecy meant to reunite the world in peace.
Jay Horn has done a masterful job of looking at a number of belief systems to distill a possible solution for the troubles besetting the world today. His answer is to recreate Pangea, the solid landmass on earth where all mankind spoke one language and everyone co-existed in peace. Imagery is strong, characters are unique and the action draws you deeper and deeper into the final solution. Eve: Pangea Book 1 provides a thought-provoking look at the larger question of existence and how people fit into the master plan of the universal creator. A very interesting story and concept.
