This book is a self attesting one. It has reinforced our belief that the main aim of Vedas is to promote the wellbeing of all its entities, in tune with their do good attitudes. The very word Veda means hymns of knowledge. Further Taitriya, Gayatri Mantra and other Upanishads define that Brahman is: Satyam Gnanam Anantam,ie totally integrated knowledge ad-infinitum embedded in Akasa, the Unified Field and its derivative Quantum Vacuum Fields reckoned in scriptures as praGYAnaM– Consciousness. As such Consciousness is the know-how and know-why of everything for generating, sustaining, recycling and governing universes including you and me. Many scientists now admit that. This itself indicates that materialism is an epiphenomenon of Consciousness and everything stems out of it only. Consciousness is composed of coded complex wave forms of energies of various kinds to lash out forms and structures and to reabsorb them. Mythological hint is available in Purusha Sooktha.It is therefore natural that such a potent knowledge should become available only for benovalent purposes and hence Vedas delivered these secrets of nature in highly coded forms. Rishis of yore and rakshasas (mythological terrorists) coercing the rishis, seem to have downloaded some of these sukshmas from Akasa. While rishis stood for totally selfless service in line with the Vedic dictum “idam na mama” the rakshasas were adharmic. So all measures to protect and prevent sukshmas from falling into the hands of unevolved persons have been clamped.
Besides,the author has attempted to logically and project a picture of how the universes may be governed. With this in mind, the book has linked the scientific and vedantic percepts like, Brahman, Akasa, Universal / Collective Consciousness, Unified Fields / Quantum Vacuum Fields, the DNAs of Universes, Holographic Universe, Nonlocalaction, the roles of: Nirguna / Saguna Brahman, Maya, Karmic balance sheets, Morphogenetic templates, Microtubules / Neuronal brains, Micro Energies, phonetic passwords, by way of Mantras denying access for abuse by egotists, terrorists, et al thus developing a theoretical model for acceptance, amplification or modification or rejection.(Ref line diagram in the book) This study has also resulted in drawing up several surmises for validation by the Rishi Scientists besides illustrating some salient contributions of the rishis.Modern scientists, are now validating one by one, of the plethora of scientific concepts lying encoded in our scriptures. Many of them are discussed in the book. Weighed against rishis clearly intuitive methods, we have today the purely inductive logic on which modern science is based. The Inductive methods adopted by the scientists have plateaued and are indicating a downward trend, owing to unrealisable experimental parameters / costs and more importantly due to the failure to consider Consciousness as another primary dimension in addition to spacetime. Since science and philosophy both deal with many common subjects, there is an increasing awareness about the need to reconcile intuitive and inductive approaches and to derive benefits from both of them.Therefore it becomes a pressing and worthwhile need to examine, as to how the intuitive perception perfected by the rishis can be called in, to supplement inductive methods
Explaining the relevant vedantic and scientific concepts, these are detailed so that the concepts can reach all the categories of global readers in graduated doses.
Such deep insights presented in the book on nature’s ways are only possible if the creators of this book have themselves downloaded some of these and hence my opening remark that this book is a self attesting one.
As such, I am more blessed than honoured to write this review. Blessed, since I have partaken in such profound discussions with the author’s father late prof, S Laksminarayanan, a Gnana Guru in every sense not only for both of us but also for very many other elites. Besides, I had the good fortune of being his student pursuing PG studies in Physical Chemistry, in The Presidency College, Madras and thereafter too for several years. I am inclined to state that Brahman seems to have chosen to speak through the creators of this book on grounds of spiritual strengths of the father son duo.
