Double-Minded Single: Stepping Stone to the Single-Minded Spouse by Shelley O'Neill is an interesting book that will tell readers about the author's personal life and struggles. The author shares a few principles that will make it easier to find a life mate and still remain a single-minded spouse. The honesty with which the book is written and the author's emphasis on trusting and obeying the Lord to achieve freedom from all personal struggles is very helpful. The contents in the book are based on actual events, which give it an authenticity, making it very effective.
Laced with Christian values and Scriptural quotes, the author promotes a single-minded nature when it comes to choosing a good spouse. It is interesting to note how she has equated life with the four seasons. It is indeed heartening to see how the author has tackled many personal issues which make it a challenging read. The book covers many relevant topics like sexual intimacy before marriage, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and other topics which are interesting to readers. The book covers the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome fairly well, giving women more details about it and how to cope with it. The book is helpful in many ways to bring stability in our lives and will help readers look at personal struggles and problems in a different light. The idea of obedience and loyalty to God and not to the world and its godlessness gives readers reason to come to their own conclusions about life in general.
