The tale is about a set of twins, a girl and a boy, that are separated from each other and believe each other dead. In their travels the young man looks for his sister but instead he finds an old but powerful wizard. The wizard teaches him how to use the great powers he is unaware of.
On their way to a city full of dangers, they encounter dragons, miners, wolfs and shadows. Some look at them as friends and others as powerful enemies. The twins’ roles in the fulfillment of a prophecy are yet to be discovered, but their way will be long and dangerous.
I would say that this is a nicely done story with lots of intrigue with several well-defined characters. However, too many characters prevent the story from moving quicker.
I enjoyed the description of places and people, though some were a bit long. The tale is a new one, yet it has the flavor of a book that could become a long-standing classic.
However, I found that the writing was repetitious, causing the reader to slow down and become tired. With a good editing, this book could become a best seller.
