What do you get when you mix dinosaurs and trucks? If you guessed Chris Gall’s new book "Dinotrux" you are absolutely right! This is the first book of Chris Gall I have read. Although I am not a fan of dinosaurs, my niece and nephew are, and they loved this book! Meeting such Dinotrux as Craneosaurus, Dozeratops, Dumploducus, Rollodon and so many more, your young children will be thrilled as they read about these new friends. The characters are truly different from any you have ever seen and the graphics in this book is vividly executed, boyishly colorful and all around fantastic. The cover design will capture the attention of any young child.
I found this story interesting, and why not mix dinosaurs and trucks? It is a neat idea and I am surprised why no one has thought of it before now. The story is short and nice for your child to read. My only complaint with this book is that some of the characters may be a little bit scary for young children, so maybe the age group could be changed a little bit. One neat thing your child will really love is the Dinotrux trading cards in the back of the book that can be removed. This is a great idea and a very nice feature of the book. I encourage you to check out this new book of Chris Gall for your child’s library. And this would be a fantastic addition to any public or school library.
