Dare to be a Centenarian: Science-Based Guide to Healthy Longevity and Spiritual Quest in Senior Years by Nihar Pal is an insightful guide that focuses on the two key areas of healthy vibrant living; how to attain youthful longevity in a healthy way and support the spiritual quest as one advances to their senior years. Aging management to slow down the aging process, wellness management to live a healthy life, and disease awareness for the old when it comes to diseases are the three important areas of healthy living. There are five chapters in the book: Aging Management, Wellness Management, Disease Awareness, Underlying Biomedical Science which supports Chapters 1, 2, and 3, and lastly Spiritual Quest which tackles societal topics like the genesis of humanity and race, interfaith religions, the universe, planet earth, and the meaning of happiness.
Dare to be a Centenarian is a handy manual for people who want to lead a healthy, youthful, and peaceful life from middle-age to old age. There are good details about the aging process and old age diseases, and the book gives good tips on how to lead a life devoid of disabilities and diseases in senior years and old age. I like the way Nihar Pal tackles the topic, methodically and extensively, making it easy for readers to comprehend the strategies suggested for lifestyle changes, epigenetic diets, and supplements to control and boost some of the harmful effects of aging and disease. It is a good book for those who are middle-aged or in their old age to implement the suggestions and advice shared by the author on how to lead a healthy and vibrant life.
