Dancing With The Fat Woman by Eliza D. Ankum is a contemporary romance that sheds a light on the thoughts of a fat woman and how she perceives the world. Carolyn Carter is a woman on a mission. She wants to find her Mr. Right, but there is only one issue - Carolyn is fat and no one wants a fat woman. There are three men who could be her potential Mr. Right, but they have an overabundance of female admirers. She has her heart set on a man who may never love her. The only man in her life who appreciates her is Taylor, her friend. But Taylor is very busy cracking a case that can make his career. Is Taylor the one for her? Will Carolyn ever find a man who will love her?
You know, there are some writers who have the gift of storytelling, and there are some writers who have the gift of making everything seem real. Eliza D. Ankum has both of these talents. She tells the story to perfection and makes the characters so real that you can see them in your mind. She described characters and scenes with such vivid clarity that I could easily make out their faces in my mind and hear their voices. A job well done by Ankum. I cannot wait to read more stories written by her. This novel was quick to read and easy to understand. She chose witty dialogue for Carolyn and I loved her! A cool story with an even cooler heroine.
