I chose "Luminescence Goh" because of its unique blend of elegance and radiance. "Luminescence" signifies the brilliance and creativity I aim to bring to my work, whether it's writing or any creative endeavour. "Goh" holds a personal connection, representing my identity and heritage. Together, they symbolize the luminous path I wish to chart in the world of literature and creativity, embracing my roots while illuminating new horizons.
About Me
Luminescence Goh was born in 1974, in Singapore. As an Asian Chinese, he is trilingual in speech and writing, even though his family only speaks in the Hokkien dialect and Mandarin. Coming from a simple family background, he completed his third year of study and joined the Singapore Navy in 1993.
In 1999, his six-year contractual term with the Navy ended. Godwin then assisted his father in the family furniture business for five years. During that time, Luminescence Goh travelled around Asia. He married in 2001, but his married life ended when he divorced in 2011 with no children. In 2011, he started to write a Chinese novel and published his first book in 2012. Luminescence Goh had an exciting and challenging experience in his life. He hoped to share some of his experiences to bring laughter, insights, and inspiration to people.

Chronicles of the Enchanted Vanguard: Seraphina and the Divine Mandate by Luminescence Goh is a fantasy novel with a strong plot and incredible characters. The story begins with Finnegan discovering a mysterious crystal at Pulau Ubin Island. However, he had no idea his life was about to change forever. He found the beautiful Seraphina at a beach, and she opened a new world of intrigue, mystery, and magic to him. However, before their relationship could develop, a solar storm destroyed all electricity and changed everything forever. Suddenly, the world around them was overwhelmed by magical creatures. Dragons, mages, strange animals, and more roam free. It was up to Seraphina, Finnegan, Lieutenant Victor, and Lyria to team up and save the world from these dark forces before it was too late. But were they enough to fight the evil forces that had taken root on Earth?
From the moment I read the first chapter, I knew I had to take my time with this novel. Chronicles of the Enchanted Vanguard: Seraphina and the Divine Mandate had everything I could wish for in a fantasy novel without being too much. It had elements of mystery, great characters, and incredible background building without being over the top. I liked Finnegan more than Seraphina. While Seraphina was definitely a key player, Finnegan was the glue of the story, holding it together. His development was the most impressive, and I loved it. Author Luminescence Goh’s narrative style pulled me into the story, and I felt like I was right beside these characters as they faced dangerous situations. The chapters were rich with details, and the vivid imagery transported me right into the scenes. I highly recommend this novel!
