Christmas Forevermore: A Christmas Romance Collection includes four short historical romance stories set in Regency England during Christmas. A Family Christmas by Sally Britton matches up a paid companion named Jane who helps an absent grandson, Cyril, adapt to his noble and close-knit family. Christmas Forevermore is by Sarah M. Eden, where two dear friends find their friendship has slowly blossomed into a deep love. Christmas at Cranfield is by Ashtyn Newbold, where childhood friends reunite. Finally, a Thrill of Hope is by Karen Thornell, where two souls lost in their turmoil, Isabel and Robert, find themselves in each other’s company during a snowstorm at Isabel’s aunt’s house in the countryside.
In Christmas Forevermore: A Christmas Romance Collection, these four stories set during the holiday season are an excellent short read to get into the Christmas spirit. They each draw you into the Regency era with descriptions of a snowy England, festive balls, and massive estates lavishly decorated in mistletoe, garlands, and Yule tide logs and we are swept into a more innocent, traditional period. The collection by Sally Britton, Sarah M. Eden, Ashtyn Newbold, and Karen Thornell left me charmed and mindful of the true meaning of Christmas, where love always finds the lonely-hearted.
