Murder follows her home as dreams haunt her with what happened as she tries to get back to her life. When Simon shows up, convinced she's being stalked, her dreams become reality. As suspicion falls on Simon, Lynley knows he's innocent, but can she prove it before she's the next victim?
A warm and charming cozy mystery, Cat's Paw is a modern day Murder, She Wrote with suspense, humor, heart, and many cats. The eerie isolation of the island is balanced by Lynley's home of Portland, where she has friends and family to lean on. Mollie Hunt introduces a sinister and unknown killer into Lynley's home, bringing the fear of isolation into the safety of home. A twist at the end reveals a surprising killer. The mystery is grounded in reality as Lynley's daily life is interrupted by fear when she becomes a target. The characters are down to earth, realistic and honest, reading like real people, neighbors and friends. Lynley is sincere and spunky, with a total adoration of cats, making her easy to relate to and a fun heroine to sleuth with. A must-read for all mystery lovers!
