Blackie and Goldie were going to have a beachy birthday celebration. They invited their friend Simi the seagull to come and build sandmen with them. When Simi arrived, they noticed a black gooey substance on his feathers. Simi told them that the ocean was polluted, and later that day Blackie and Goldie wondered what they could do to help Mother Earth feel better. At that time a rainbow appeared in the sky and its colorful rays opened a magical tunnel in the ground. They went down the tunnel and wondered what adventure would be awaiting them there. Goldie could not believe her eyes when she saw Kandee the Kangaroo who welcomed Blackie and Goldie to Australia. They recycled, recycled, and recycled until it was time for another adventure. They went to Europe and met Kitt the deer. They finally went to Africa where Lotus the elephant took them to their final project.
