You'll be glued to the pages as you try to unravel the plot, and you will be thoroughly entertained along the way.
This brief but powerful novel has a lot going for it: a magnetic plot, interesting characters, and plenty of surprises. You'll get involved in the lives of the characters on the very first page. Besides the story, you have themes of culture and religion and other social issues. If you are unfamiliar with India, here is an entertaining way to learn more about it. The pace is even, the plot is well-built, and the suspense keeps rising. The glossary at the end is especially nice.
