As the book opens, the first question asked is exactly what is bullying. There is a huge list. Common sense and safety should be the first action. Following this, reasons are listed as to why a person might be a bully, such as a bad home life. A target may be a person with no friends. Next, why is bullying wrong? Both bullies and targets might engage in fighting and be hurt or hurt others. What can a child do about bullies? Linville’s advice is to always be with people you trust. You never know what bullies will do. Be safe and carefully get away from bullies. Finally, the book closes with a piece of advice, which is to say something because bullies want you to say nothing.
