Author Biography

I am a motivational speaker, sales trainer, and author.
Overtime, I have found myself telling stories about my experiences
at the Indy 500. I would tell a story about something that I witnessed or experienced, and then I would explain how a lesson of some sort or another was learned by that experience. It became apparent to me, very early-on, that when I told a story and presented the lesson learned, people in the audience would perk up and become more attentive. I was able to transfer my excitement about Indy and its applicability to life to the audience. They always loved it and they still do.

People approach me after a speaking event and mention how the
stories are the best part of the event. It makes sense. We are all trying to identify something “out-there” with something “inside” ourselves. It is no secret that experience is the best teacher. Even bad experiences can teach us invaluable lessons. Th e fact that my stories resonate with others makes sense to me. When I tell you something that happened to me, you will see that I am very much like you and that if my methods are based on true life experiences, they can and will work for you.

For years people have encouraged me to share these
stories and their many lessons in a book. So, after attending over
40 Indy 500s and well over 200 Indy car races, I am ready to
share these stories.
