In a wonderful final installment of the Whisper Trilogy,
War and Wonder, author Dana Faletti has done an absolutely fantastic job of concluding this highly unique and creative story. This book concludes the story of Callie Evans, our protagonist who found that she was an Arc, an angel sent to Earth to combat the "Darks" the demons sent to specifically prey on teenagers. Callie has to help those on Earth navigate Armageddon, and all that it entails. In an action packed ride, one that will have readers on the very edge of their seats, as well as thinking about what could happen at the end of the world, Callie may just be one of humankind's last hopes.
I very much enjoyed War and Wonder. Author Dana Faletti has done an absolutely fantastic job in creating characters that her readers will connect with, relate to, and continue to think of long after the last page is turned. If that isn't a hallmark of a great author, I'm not sure what is. This book brings the great Whisper Trilogy to a full and satisfying conclusion, and I feel that author Faletti's faithful readers will be pleased. Readers, especially young adults, who enjoy paranormal or religious related themes, or just a great work of fiction in general, should absolutely read this book. I very highly recommend War and Wonder. I certainly hope that author Dana Faletti is hard at work on a new series. This very promising author has much to offer the literary world!
