Miss Ada Chase has only ever wanted a fairytale ending. Someone to love her as much as the men who love her sister and cousins, despite her flaws. However, as the group of girls stumbled upon a gambling club and incurred the wrath of the Countess of Abernath, she is stuck with the Viscount of Viceroy, Blakely, watching her every move. He is everything she doesn't want - or is he? Known as Vice by his friends, the Viscount knows he's only here to watch Ada. She's not even his type but her honey smell and auburn hair trip him up time and again, physically and emotionally. Soon, he can't deny the pull between them but will she feel the same? Can she tame a rogue and help him heal old wounds?
In the Lords of Scandal book four, Viscount of Vice, Tammy Andresen has done it again. My love for the characters has only grown throughout this series and this book is no different. Her excellent writing skills make me picture each character in great detail, yet allow my mind to have creativity with the characters and scenes. It is not overdone and the imagery runs rampant in your mind. This book can be read as a standalone novel as the author craftily weaves in events from prior books but allows this story to develop on its own. Personally, I recommend reading the whole series as it is wonderfully done. I'm excited to see what the next book holds.
