Truth Devour was born in Melbourne, Australia, to Eastern European immigrant parents who migrated across in the 1970's. Truth's first published book in her contemporary romantic trilogy, "Wantin," won the 2015 LA Book Award Romance Category, and has received numerous honorable mentions with Readers Favorite, London, Amsterdam book festivals, and countless others. Truth is currently working on a five book release called the Soliloquy's Labyrinth Series which is a Contemporary Dysotopian Fantasy, Paranormal series. There are rave reviews flooding in for Book 1 - Illuminarium.

Truth Devour - Devour thy own Truth

Unrequited is the sequel volume of Truth Devour's new adult coming of age novel, Wantin. Talia is starting to realize that her 5-year relationship with Sebastian is coming to an end. She consulted a psychic who gave her a Tarot card reading which simply confirmed what Talia already knew: Sebastian was having an affair. This bothered her less than the fact that, when confronted, he denied the infidelity. Talia has also been restless and, after helping Sebastian move, decides to go to India where she feels she'll get inspiration. India is a marvelous experience for her, and it does give her the seed of an idea to start a foundation that will help resolve problems in the developing parts of the world. Her thoughts go first to Haiti, the place she loved as a child, and the foundation's first project is to provide areas in that country with access to clean water.
Truth Devour's wandering hero, Talia, is still searching for the man that the gypsy in Wantin, and the psychic in Unrequited, have assured her is looking for her. She's troubled by her inability to connect with any of the increasing number of men who've fallen in love with her. Only Brad seems to have been her match, yet she's not even sure that would have worked out. It's marvelous watching how Talia throws herself into new adventures and deftly turns would-be suitors into friends in this sequel story. I had wondered how Devour would follow her marvelous first book in this series, and I was not in the least disappointed. Unrequited is every bit as enjoyable as Wantin and was a satisfying and delightful reading experience. Talia has turned out to be a dynamic force to be reckoned with, and it's a joy to follow her as she travels to India, Haiti and the US. Will there be another sequel to follow Unrequited? I hope so. It would be sad indeed to think Devour's reading audience wouldn't have another chance to spend some more time with Talia.
