The country is under threat of falling prey to a powerful and evil man, Dr. Benjamin Reghart. An undercover group of psychics fight to keep everyone safe from the looming dangers to which an evil organization could expose them. Will the guardians succeed in keeping humanity safe and assuring everyone that there’s still hope for tomorrow? In this beautiful tale, Beach introduces readers to compelling characters such as Taylor Mackay and his fiancée Aria, Onix the Team leader, the beautiful Sabrina Grant, and many others, all taking up arms against an evil that could enslave everyone.
I am not a fan of paranormal romance, but this one grabbed my attention from the very first page. It read like a dream, and once I turned over the last page, I still had the lingering, eerie feeling of dreamland. R Beach has a very fertile imagination that seems to reflect on the pages of her writing like bursts of clear water. The plot is filled with surprising turns that add to the well-developed suspense in the story. Although the characters seem to come from another world, they are so real that readers will immediately sympathize with them. The language is beautiful, somewhat poetic!
This is one of those paranormal novels that are condensed with interesting elements: passionate love, intrigue, the lust for power, the quest for freedom, and the dream of a future that can only be created by today’s choices. It is one of those books that I will highly recommend to those who love paranormal reads.
