Towns And Villages Situated Along The North TransPennine Line: A Collection of Word Search Puzzles by Lois Henderson is a fun and interactive book with a collection of word search puzzles inspired by the author's multiple journeys taken by train as a teenager in Cape Town when she went to visit her father in Kalk Bay. She speaks of the trip being an eye-opener regarding the inequalities and disparities that existed. This is the first book in her series of puzzle books on the towns and cities along the rail routes in the British Isles. It will help readers gain some insight into the towns, cities, and villages they might pass. Doing the puzzles in the book will give readers a lot of enjoyment, be they real travelers or arm-chair travelers.
Lois Henderson's concept and approach to the topic is innovative, fresh, and unique and there cannot be a better way to get readers interested in learning the names of the towns, cities, and villages in an entertaining and interactive way. The photographs are beautiful and it is a handy book that can be carried during traveling for readers to keep themselves occupied. The solutions at the end are quite useful to those who require a certain amount of help while doing these puzzles.
