It all started the evening when Herb, who was in the sub-basement of the theater where he works checking on the heating
and air equipment, was bitten by bats. Instead of dying, he bit one of the bats back and drank the blood of the ancients (a thing forbidden to human beings). Shortly after, Herb realizes that something in him has changed, and it is up to the little bat called the General to explain to him what to do and what is going on. What is more important, though, is that the bat that Herb killed was the second in command and brother to the king, and he will have to face that threat. What will happen to Herb? Theatre of the Vampires tells an intriguing story. H. F. Galloway has written a tale that will entertain readers and make them eager to learn about Herb, the General, and all the other characters who gradually join them. The General, in particular, is a character I liked very much because he is the most original. The book is not very long, but it has all the ingredients for a story full of twists, and you do not really know how it will end. I have to say that the ending was a big surprise; I did not expect it like this at all. I recommend this book to those who love vampire stories; there is something interesting for everyone to enjoy.
