The Truth about Jarrod is Book Two in the Genes Inherent Series by L.R. Perie, a multilayered crime story, a mystery that will take the reader back to the obscure history of a man called Jarrod Mohanigan. Renee would do anything to put Cooper Mohanigan out of her life and thoughts. Now in love with the brother of the victim of the mindless murderer, she still has nightmares of the killer, and there is one unsolved case whose memory troubles her infinitely. Somewhere deep inside her conscience, she knows she can’t find peace unless the body of one of Cooper’s victims, Sheryl, is found. But how can she when she has no access to Cooper? Only one person can lead her to the truth, one of Cooper’s ancestors: Jarrod Mohanigan. Now she’s on a journey back to Cooper’s very own origins, a journey that sees her rushing across countries, sure only of her sense of uncertainty.
