If you're not familiar with Barry Robbins' work, I highly recommend it, especially the Oh Daddy Chronicles -- a parody series that makes fun of the outrageous and unbelievable stuff that the Trump administration got away with. Highly recommended.

Republicans, as well as Democrats, can find humor and fun in this book. Conservatives—like me—and liberals can laugh together at the foibles mentioned by Barry. The Donald Trump presented in this book is a caricature of the real Donald. I did not know it was possible to develop so much silliness from someone’s IQ. This book pokes fun at everything connected with Donald. Even though this is a parody, one can sense that Barry really disagrees with what Donald stands for. This book is excellent for a relaxing read when you are in the mood for comedy.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump sets himself up to be the butt of jokes. Nevertheless, his statements will provide fodder for good humor for years to come. Barry includes all those who have supported Donald and even makes room to poke fun at those who have opposed him. The Democrat that runs against Trump in 2024 is someone I would never have guessed. Makes for interesting speculation. Some of the language used is suggestive, but what can one expect when dealing with 'the Donald'? Very conservative people may be offended at some of the mild vulgarity. Overall, this book will tickle everyone’s funny bone. Barry is a master at inventive humor and political satire.

By all appearances, author Barry Robbins is not a fan of the former president. For example, the first entry, dated Jan. 1, 2024, has Trump looking forward to a new year of “fleecing tenants, cheating at golf,” etc. The “translator” adds to the derision, noting that the reason the book contains words longer than four letters and complete sentences is only because of the work that he, the translator, did.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Trump Diaries 2024. It’s both creative and humorous. Author Barry Robbins uses absurdity and drollness to remind his readers of many of Trump’s foibles and mistakes, along with his intelligence level. Some examples are noting that Putin is “my (Trump’s) friend” and “who says I (Trump) ever grew up?” There’s also the mythical “Trumple” game, where players get six tries to figure out a two-letter word, with one of the letters already filled in. Robbins also tells of Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz telling Trump, “they took an MRI of your brain and found nothing there.” But poking fun at the former president is always in good fun. Even supporters of Trump will laugh if they read it with an open mind. Whatever your political persuasion, this book is well worth reading. You’ll smile, laugh, and enjoy the author’s imagination. I recommend it to everyone.

The Trump Diaries 2024 by Barry Robbins is a hilarious compilation of diary entries written by none other than The Donald and translated into layman’s terms by a liberal Donald, happened upon by chance. The entries are short and funny and, in true Trump, fashion, make almost no sense. This comedic collection is a fun read which offers the reader a break from the seriousness of life and allows you to laugh at the expense of the ex-president of the United States. Although the political aspect of the entries was a little lost on me, nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I think that with the right amount of political knowledge the context of this book would be even more enjoyable but in saying that, this book was very well written. The little jokes thrown into the entries had me in stitches and there wasn’t a moment when I didn’t have a smile on my face while reading. I think The Trump Diaries is definitely worth reading especially for those interested in the political climate of the United States.
